The Royal Albert Hall is one of my favourite venues in London. The hall was opened by Queen Victoria in 1871 and hosts more than 350 music, dance, sporting and political events a year. It is a registered charity that aims to promote the Arts and Sciences and receives no public or government funding. Depending on the configuration for each event the venue can seat up to 5272 people. I saw the Statoil Masters Tennis and Mike & The Mechanics at this wonderful venue and both were magnificent.
